A 1941 25 pass Flxible Clipper In Cornell, WI


Advancing years is the reason why FOI member Ron Wickware is willing to part with his turnkey-ready '41 Clipper.

Originally converted in the early '50's, this bus is said to have belonged to the Country Singer George Jones - and that it was he who scripted his name on the sides. Of course it has his characteristic 4-5 case beer cooler built into the Galley. (It works too!) It has a Twitty City plate in place of the license plate on the front bumper

  • Entrance Door moved from front to center of right side

  • Duo-Therm gas furnace with thermostat

  • Period style “funnel” or sconce 12 volt lighting

  • 110 ac fluorescent valance lighting,

  • Original pull down window shades

  • Bedroom has a bed and two bunks

  • Bath has toilet and lav

  • New electronic tach.

  • Roof luggage rack with hand holds and steps left of engine door

  • Tanks hold 20-30 gal fresh, 20-30 gal comb grey-black.

  • Air park brake,

  • Aux. Radiator fan,

  • Period ARVIN radio

  • Strong 400 Chev and a rebuilt TH350 with a trans cooler,

  • Glass all intact (although window in front entrance door is cracked)
