A '64 Transit In Indiana
Nov, '06: This just in, from owner Richard Powelson, in Ft. Wayne, IN:

"This bus has a totally rebuilt 238 Detroit GMC 6 cylinder Engine with only 10,000 miles on it. It has a manual 5 speed transmission, air brakes, new battery, two new Duotherm air conditioning/heating units."

"It sleeps six very comfortably, and has a full kitchen with a stove, sink, and refrigerator. it has a dining table that seats four, and has plenty of closet, cabinet, and there is tons of storage space under it.
The only thing the inside doesn't have is a bathroom. The only other thing wrong with it is it has a crack in the lower front windshield, and a crack in the door window. otherwise this bus has been kept in perfect running order. It was owned by a race car driver that used it quite often, so it hasn't been sitting and rotting like most of the buses have of it's day."

"I am only asking $11,000.00 for it. I could probably give it fresh coat of paint, and put in a bathroom and get twice that from what I see others selling for, but I'm assuming the new owner would want to do remodel it the way he/she would want it, so I am leaving that alone.
I bought it thinking I would take it on the road, but I have had some personal issues that are going to keep me in Ft. Wayne for quite a while, so I would rather see someone buy this and use it."
