The Original Factory Plaque
This was built by the Loudonville factory as an Executive Coach model, finished just as you see it in these pictures today. It has never carried a paying passenger, or run on a schedule. First bought by The Holland Furnace Company as an Executive Coach - the "bizjet" of the '50's. These rare busses sold for an original price of $45,000 (1954 Dollars!) and thus are very rare on the ground today. The present owner, Mr. Willard Meadows, used it to carry his musical group around to Christian Revivals for many years. An experienced mechanic, he has re-powered it a number of times; in its present incarnation it is powered by a Ford 460 gas engine, with the matching C6 transmission, and he reports it cruises happily on the level at 70mph.









100% Road-Ready

Mr. Meadows has owned this Coach since '72, and has driven it an average of 8-10,000 miles per year. These are all recent photos, having been taken in March, '07. He reports that it is 100% ready to go anywhere as of this minute. As the outside photos show, it could use new exterior painting, but as you see, the interior is still A-1.

The original purchase of the bus was made by the Holland Furnace Company and ordered as an executive coach. After that there were a few owners until a friend of my father’s purchased it and soon after my father purchased it from him. At that point in 1972 it still had the original tires on it. This bus wasn’t built for, nor has it ever seen transit use.

My father, Willard Meadows, purchased the bus for his gospel singing group "The Heaven Bound Singers“ . He used it only on a part-time basis as he also worked full-time. Many of you may know him, especially in the Christian Community as he and the gospel group are well known in several states. The group put approximately 8-10 thousand miles a year on it and it was well maintained. The group now uses a large van for traveling. Due to my father’s health issues he will no longer drive the bus, so it has not been used by the group for the last 3 years and so he is reluctantly offering it for sale. It is in need of some cosmetic work (the bus has always looked strikingly beautiful until recently). However, this bus is road-worthy, a rock solid low-miler that has been well maintained and needs a new home where the new owner will treat it in the fashion that my father has for the last 35 years.
