A '54 Visicoach in Garland, UT

This '54 Visi has been sitting for awhile, but the owner is confident it can be revived again for more enjoyable miles on the road.

This '54 Visicoach is owned by the Butler Family in Garland, UT. Here's are the owner's comments:

Engine is a GM 400 Cu In V6 a truck engine I was told. Transmission is a manual 5 speed, Differential likewise a truck unit. Gear ratios and engine redline pretty much limit this thing to speeds under 65MPH, but as I said, great for the mountains around here.

We have brought this thing back from the dead a couple of times. With fresh gas and a new battery, I expect it could be coaxed back to life again.

Interior Has 12 original seats half of which reversed so as to form 3 groups of 4 facing seats. (which make into 3 beds.) Also has a 3 person bench that folds to bed and a single pivoting recliner seat right behind the Driver seat. So you could seat 16 besides the driver. Has Fridge, 4 burner stove, Oven, Microwave, Sink, 1 fresh water pressure tank, 1 holding tank for the sink, no water heater, no toilet.

Owner wants $6000. However we will consider all offers and probably sell to the best, after possibly removing the Generator. and maybe the frig, depending on the offer amount.

As far as cost of rendering it fully usable goes, well our family camps pretty rough. Function always took precedence over form. We never were into Ooooh! and Aaaahhh! For our purposes and to our standards I bet we could get it functional and registered again for well under $1,500 <
